Centra Health has only made healthcare worse in Central Virginia. They have created a monopoly. ER wait times are ridiculously long. There are no other options or choices for healthcare because they've acquired (taken over) all of their competitors. We were OVERBILLED for a medical procedure and Centra REFUSES to issue a refund. They are holding our money hostage. If we owed them money, they wouldn't wait months for us to pay. Why should we wait months for a refund?
The er needs some definite work…. But the rest of my hospital stay which was over a week upstairs'(almost 2 weeks )was wonderful or as good as could be expected!!! I had Dr Joanne Hosni, MD and she was so unbelievably amazing and helpful. Instead of bringing me down and nagging me about what I need to do, she supported me on my journey of healing and was so positive the entire time and when I had a concern she listened and did everything she could to resolve it.
