I am just moving in at Center Square. I've read all the rules and regulations at least 10 times. I want to be familiar with my obligations. I must say that the staff at Center square has gone out of their way to accommodate my every need and request. The common. areas are so inviting, they're so neat and clean they almost shine. The view from my balcony is spectacular and they even pick up my trash every day. If the rest of my stay (which I expect to be permanent) continues like the beginning I'll die a happy woman.
If you’re considering living here, be aware that there’s near-constant construction that's loud and disruptive during the day. While they initially emailed notices about renovations, that stopped after a 2-3 months, and there was no mention of any ongoing construction during my tour in summer 2024. Place is total trash. Old, dirty, smells terrible. Always renovations going on so very noisy. Major plumbing issues. Management is impossible to reach and unprofessional. Incredibly expensive with hidden fees. They tried to raise my rent a substantial amount after 6 months. Many other issues. Read the reviews not the responses from the hole in the wall that belongs in the worst part of Philly. I’m super happy to be gone from there.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The building is clean and quiet. The common areas are bright and well appointed. The apartment is newly renovated, clean, the appliances are new, and the size is excellent for the price and location.
