Dr. Ballard did not listen to any of symptoms after hip surgery. At 6 1/2 weeks i explained to him that my level of pain persisted at 7/10, not normal. He took an Xray, saying he could see nothing wrong. He immediately stood up and said i would probably never see him again but call if i needed to, and left the room. Later, under a different doctor, it was discovered i had a fracture in my leg, hamstring tears, partial tearing of the gluteus minimus. After 20 years of hip surgeries with no success, I decided to take the advice around me and get a second opinion and six hip surgeries. I now have my life back with kayaking and the outdoors, I should have done this years prior. So,,before you take that step and try that second opinion, it might just save some quality of life

I had total knee replacement surgery in March 2021. Since the day of my surgery I have pain and numbness from my mid thigh down to my ankle. When I went in for my 2 week check up I told the PA about the numbness and pain. He said was I having neuropathy and the numbness was due to nerves being cut through. He put me on Gabapentin for the pain. When I saw Dr. Ballard at my 6 week checkup I told him I felt like I had a tourniquet around my mid thigh and my leg was numb.
