Very slow and very inefficient in scheduling diagnostic imaging that requires prior authorization (eg MRI).
Had a miserable time dealing with this provider and our anthem medical insurance for a mammogram. The provider is in-network, but then we were surprised by the analyst being out-of-network. Neither our insurance or the provider seems to want to address this. It's been months now and they keep sending us a bill that should have been fully covered.
Booked my appointment over the phone and gave my insurance to the girl I spoke with. Was told that they were in network and everything. I took time off of work to be able to make it to this appointment. Get there and am told that they may be out of network and not covered by my insurance. Had me sit for 30 mins and then was told that they maybe take my insurance at other locations, but not this one. Mammogram tech was asking me my family history of cancer. I told her. Then I told her I am at high risk (according to DOCTORS and the Tyrer-Cuzick Risk Assessment Calculator which is what is used by doctors to determine your risk) shr proceeded look at me like I was a moron and explain to me how with my family history it didn’t make sense to HER that I would be high risk.
