I came here twice when I was younger, around 15 and 16. I'm 21 now. I've never felt the same since. The 2 stars I'm giving are only for the few people on the staff that actually understood and cared to help, and the few good memories I made here. I am autistic, and I was undiagnosed at the time. This place is prison. You will be traumatized. my parents forever will regret sending me here and what has happened since has been extremely worse than anything to happen before. I will never get over the nightmares and I will never trust doctors again. I have to live in fear of doctors and medical professionals because of a place that was as torturous as this was.

I stayed at Center for Discovery about a year ago for 4 months, and my experience was really disappointing overall. There was constant staff turnover while I was there, and it felt like I was going through an entirely new team every few weeks. A lot of the newer staff didn’t seem properly trained or familiar with patients’ needs, which made it hard to feel safe or understood. One of the biggest issues for me was medication management.
