I submitted an online request for an appointment and never heard back, so I stopped by in person after work today to try and get something scheduled as a new patient. The staff didn’t seem too concerned and definitely didn’t seem eager to help. I was handed a short questionnaire, she glanced at the computer, then gave me a card with a random date and time on it. I have "white coat" syndrome and haven't had a colonoscopy for 7 years. Needless to say I was very anxious to meet Dr. Bontemp for a pre-physical leading to an upcoming colonoscopy next week. He has a wonderful bedside manner and made me quite comfortable during my exam process. He answered all of my questions about my upcoming colonoscopy process. I strongly recommend him for anyone dealing with any GI situation.
