Dr. Van Ness is great. I recommend him to everyone new moving into the area. My first Florida dentist wanted to do $10,000 work on my wife and $4,000 on me. Dr. Van Ness told me none of that was necessary. He has been my dentist for six years and highly recommend him.

Was the Dental Care provider able to take and develop x-rays in their office? Yes Will this Dental Care provider try to get you an appointment ASAP if you have an emergency? Yes How would you compare this provider to others in his/her field that you have visited? Very good Does this provider answer the phone in a reasonable time when you call? Mostly Did this provider seem knowledgeable and competent? Yes

Does this provider ever overbook appointments here? No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments Was there annoying music playing while you waited or during your visit? No, there was no annoying music Did you experience unnecessary pain during your visit? Not one bit! I felt much better when I left! Did your mouth feel clean after your appointment? I don't know if the positive reviews here are on the same dentist I met. If we're talking about Dr. Charles Schmidt, this is an office you want to avoid. The staff there is indifferent at best, the dental services are way overpriced, and Dr. Schmidt is going to insist that you have extra work done for additional fees. Plus -- at least when I was there - you're going to have your teeth worked on in a common room with other patients. As an added bonus, you'll also wait and wait for a long time.
