Unfortunately when my family used Cen-Tex Properties because they were moving out of the state. The company didn't make sure the property was well kept by the tenants nor reached out to my family to inform the tenants were destroying the property which is now not in livable conditions. The company did made sure they picked up the rent and received their payments. My family felt a disservice Cen-Tex Properties. I was trying not to give them a rating but I had to select one to be able to post.
Cen-Tex Properties let tenants trash a rental property l own in Belton, Tx for years, then instead of holding them accountable, the company quietly lined up a bid for $5,750.00 to demolish two buildings- my buildings-rather than make the tenants clean up their own mess. Tenants had been there since 2009 and the place was left a wrecked, debris-strewn disaster. I filed a formal complaint with TREC and BBB. If you want a property manager who actually protects your investments, LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!
I am very disappointed with my experience with Cen-Tex Property Management--especially Milt Burns! My property was managed by the company for many years while my husband and I lived out of state, so we relied on them to properly oversee and maintain our investment. Before the tenants moved out in June 2025, the property had developed significant maintenance and repair issues.
