Celia was the first psychiatrist I had ever gone to. I’m saying this about 8 years later, and several psychiatrists later, that she was the one that helped me the most through out these years. I felt seen and listened to and although then I would have disagreed, she had my best interest at heart.

I was assigned to her by Sibley Memorial Hospital, while they knew that my insurance didn't cover her (there were other doctors in the same unit that were covered). No one bothered telling me that she was charging 300 dollars a day for seeing me less than 10 minutes. She just likes to have people on many meds with the ultimate goal of saying nothing worked, so we need to do ECT (her biggest source of income clearly). I still owe her close to 10,000 no law will protect patients against scammers.

Kind, empathetic, quick to understand the issues. When we went to her office, it was clear she was having some administrative difficulties due to an absent assistant, but she stepped in and handled it herself. I would recommend her.
