Ceiba, located at 14th & G Streets NW in the historic Colorado Building, is the latest creation of the team that brought you DC Coast & TenPenh. The cuisine is contemporary Latin-American featuring Brazilian, Cuban, Jamaican & Mexican influences. For all of you theater goers or early diners, Ceiba offers a three course pre-theater menu for $35.00 Mon-Sat available from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Ceiba offers a happy hour Mon-Sat from 3:00pm to 6:00pm and late night happy hour Mon-Sat from 9:30pm to 11:00pm.

Horrible Service – Went for my anniversary on a Sat night. Nice atmosphere. Good food. Unfortunately, after the initial greeting we were ignored the rest of the night. Had to go up to the bar ourselves to check on our drinks. Had to practically tackle our waiter to get his attention. Won't be back anytime soon, unless I hear they have new management.
Awesome Happy Hour Spot – This Metro Center Latin restaurant offers delicious food and really great drinks - I'm often here for their happy hour, where at the bar you can get drinks for cheap ($5) and small dishes for half off. Their bar food is way better than the greasy stuff you'll find at most bars. Try the queso fundido - melted cheese, chorizo and vegetables served in a hot pot with tortillas - it's greasy goodness. Their margaritas are also top notch.
Guacamole heaven – Amazing happy hour. First off the cocktails were delicious, but what made them even more so was the $5 happy hour price! Add that to a really cool atmosphere, and some amazing appetizers--especially the guacamole...mmmm. And you have one perfect evening on your hands. I can't give them a 5 star simply because I have ONLY been there for happy hour, but then next time I am in town, I will certinaly be heading back to Ceia to try some of the other menu items.
