The doctors at this location are excellent — my review is solely about the front office staff. Unfortunately, Montana and Cristina repeatedly displayed combative, aggressive, and argumentative behavior toward me as a patient. I was scheduled incorrectly multiple times, and instead of acknowledging their mistakes, they became defensive and shifted blame onto me. And here’s the problem with so many doctors offices today. The front desk is under staffed Or has not been given the tools to help the patient answer questions,. Including the answer “ I don’t know when someone will get back to you could be 2 to 4 days???? “ Really!!!! ! I think the front office should have an answer to that question.
Five star experience all around. The ladies at the reception desk are incredibly kind and helpful. Never had a scheduling problem. And Dr. Photopoulos is the BEST. Tore my ACL in 2022 and the recovery went as smoothly as possible. He's knowledgeable, skilled, easy to talk to, and customizes the treatment based on the patient. He's my go-to orthopedic doctor now and as frustrating as sports injuries are, it's comforting to know I'm in great hands. I fractured my patella on a Saturday and barely made it in to an urgent care. They told me to go to an ortho asap. Sunday no one is open. Monday I frantically called every ortho in the LA area and the soonest I could be seen was Thursday. I was in a lot of pain, like 8-9/10. I accidentally called Dr. Scott on his cellphone because that was the number listed by my insurance website. That has since been corrected.
