Dr. Wittnabel is the best doctor I’ve known through five surgeries, years of pain. He dealt with my being overprescribed oxycodone before very complicated surgery. He was right there-before and after surgery. He helped me withdraw from pain meds completely. Great doctor, very fine human.
Dr. Wittnebel has been an incredible Doctor and has been an incredible support to both my wife and I after some very difficult surgeries. He spends time with us, he explained his strategy in relatable detail, and clearly cares about us. It’s as simple as that. He shows compassion in the face of frustration and pain in a way that others have not. He and McKenzie have our eternal gratitude.
Dr. Wittnebel is one of the doctors at The Spin Center who meets with you if you are planning on having spine surgery at Cedars. Dr. Wittnebel told me today that I should go through a week of detox in order to have surgery. He told me that my herniated disk and spurs "pain" was mainly due to the fact that I am taking too many pain medications. The Spine Center is a joke.
