I lived at Cedarhurst for close to two years and have enjoyed my time very much. The locations is great and walkable and staff were always prompt with inquiries and maintenance requests.
Location is central but your stuff will be stolen and/or your car will be broken into. There's no security at all and random sketchy people are constantly on the property, in and out of the dumpsters, and roaming in the parking lot looking into cars. Owners upkeep to the minimum but no real improvements are made while rent has increased over time supposedly to "market rate".
I have lived at Cedarhurst for about 2 years. The property management company changed over the summer. I don't generally interact with the property management unless there is a problem. I have had few issues. Pros: 1. Location - It is located a few blocks from 2 supermarkets. It is surrounded by a pretty residential neighborhood that is good for walking. Moved in March 2021. About a month after I move in, construction begins next door. First the demolition of the house on the property: loud banging all day with the occasional boom shaking the walls in my unit. This went on for about two months. The demolition crew arrived around 7am every weekday and woke me up starting with the sound of their truck backing into the property. Following the deconstruction, the excavation begins.
