I have been a patient of Dr. Deweerd for 20 years. He has never stopped trying to help me with anything that I have going on. He is kind, caring and extremely professional. The staff is always kind, helpful and understanding. I never have to wait to be seen. Dr. Deweerd and Barbie, his medical assistant, always spend as much time with you as you need!! After trying to set up an initial appointment and not getting my calls returned I figured I try one last shot today. First time no answer, second time i get in touch with Barbie...Barbie tells me that they dont take my insurance. I asked if I could do an out of pocket visit since it's my Therapist who wants me to see this particular Dr. A simple no would've been fine but instead Barbie says "someone who can pay for an office visit shouldn't have insurance and this really isn't the place for you." ...I dunno. Dr. Garner is the best doctor I have ever had. She is patient, kind and straight forward. She really cares about her patients and loves what she does. I am blessed to have found such a wonderful place to get my primary health care needs met.
