Cedar Ridge Animal Hospital and Equine Services was founded in 2012 by Dr. Ted Wright and Dr. Margee Moncure and has provided high quality, compassionate, and affordable care since the doors opened. We offer full service small animal care in the hospital and mobile equine care by Dr. Wright. We provide veterinary service to both owned animals and several animal rescue groups with a portion of our profits benefiting Animal Compassion Network.

I have been going to this office since 2017 and loved it! However, I just tried to take my small pup for a checkup. I was never informed that I could not go inside with my pup when I scheduled the appointment due to Covid. I have a chihuahua who is scared easily and has more comfort in strange areas if her owner is there. The practice manager was very rude to me, telling me it’s my fault that I didn’t know I could not go inside with my pup. Hello! I apologize if our COVID protocols were not what you were expecting yesterday. We have been curbside only since March to best protect our staff and clients during the pandemic. So thankful for these guys! The vet was just so great! They are just so amazing with my axle. And I love that I can trust them and know my baby is ok with them! If you are needing a great vet this is the one for you!
So grateful for these guys! Whether it’s a question or an emergency at the last second, they are ALWAYS there for for us. The staff are more like family at times than an office. They genuinely care about their individual clients.
I am so thankful for the kind people at Cedar Ridge Animal Hospital. They took wonderful care of our guinea pig. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

We love Cedar Ridge animal hospital! They always make thoughtful, loving, and informed decisions about the care of our many cats, dogs, and feathered friends. They have helped us with kittens we found, our sweet old cats and dogs, our cross eyed feral who isn't feral, and our hyper new husky. Caring, compassionate team! I’ve been coming here for over 8 years. I wholeheartedly trust Dr. Moncure and her team. They truly care about their patients and families they serve. I feel fortunate to be able to take my puppy to see them. Previously I brought my 2 other dogs here as well before they passed away last winter from old age. Thank you all for everything you do to serve our community!
