Great place!! Excellent products at lowest prices and its family owned by friendly people. I like how quick it is to get in and out of there.
Support this local and family business Great business. As the other reviews have stated: it is a local business and they have a bit more of a personal touch than the bigger stores do, not to say there is anything wrong with the depot or other rock and fill places. It is just good to support local and definitely struggling family businesses. Their service is good, their attitudes are positive and friendly and I get all my soils and rock from Cedar Mill Lumber.
Nice friendly honest folks I had the pleasure of working with the Anderson's from Fall of '97 to Spring of '00. I was let go when they sold the hardware store and concentrated on landscaping materials. It was a real pleasure to work for them and I enjoyed the experience. Our customers much prefered the personal touch and the straight talk over the half bright adolescent at BigBox that is hard pressed to recite the days of the week. Community friendly The best thing about Cedar Mill Lumber are the great people that work there. They are friendly and very helpful. They offer rentals at a reasonable cost and are willing to make sure you know how to operate the equipment. They have been in the Cedar Mill area for decades. The business has passed through generations and you can tell because of the care they give their customers.
