Horrible conditions nasty bathrooms uncomfortable beds and pillows
My stay at this mental hospital was really really bad. The staff did nothing to help me mentally and then on top of that I got manipulated by one of the pati and a patient there tried to fight me multiple times for no reason at all. I did nothing to her and then when I actually wanted to eat for once I got told no and to sit back down. We were basically on house arrest for 2 patients trying to escape and everyone was affected by those 2 patients, even when nobody else did anything. Hated this hospital.
Great facility that handles patient’s with all kinds of mental health. The staff are very passionate about the work they do and very caring. I have seen patient’s that other facilities could not manage receive care at Cedar crest and did well. The entire team have excellent collabration skills to provide the best care. This facility cares so much about their staff too and provide opportunity for staff growth.
Do not send your children here, it is more of a prison. There's so much racism in there it's ridiculous. If you are not black then you are an outcast. You send your child there in hopes that they have people there that will care and help them with their mental disability but instead they are frowned upon and favoritism is a role played in their.
