The Edmonds community is incredibly fortunate to have Cedar Creek. It is a truly loving and supportive environment for older adults navigating memory care. Not only is the community aesthetically beautiful, but the leadership and care staff are exceptionally attentive and dedicated. If you have a loved one with dementia, Irene Austvold in Community Relations is an absolute gem. She is honest, compassionate, and someone you can completely trust to guide your family.
Cedar Creek Memory Care is the best of the best. My wife is there and they are taking exceptional care of her. I go see her nearly everyday and I'm at peace knowing she is in excellent hands.
Let me start by saying, if this is a crossroad you and your family are at? I’m sorry for this journey you are on. Loosing a loved one to Dementia/Alzheimer is saying good bye everyday. I visited this facility to look for a memory care facility for my grandfather who is a Navy Veteran. He served this country for 32 years. I was basically told to look for a place with “more people like him around “ meaning black people. This place is racist, they had no residents of color, NOT ONE! And I see why because they will turn you away due to the color of your skin, pure ignorance.
Cedar Creek provided a soft landing during one of the hardest decisions our family has faced. We know we made the right choice after seeing the consistent, compassionate care they provide our mother-in-law and how they have supported us as a family. Her health has improved, she has made friends, and she enjoys outings, art, singing, and activities that enrich her life. The leadership is accessible and responsive, and the caregivers are warm, genuine, and highly skilled. It’s clear they truly care about every resident.
