Let me start by saying, if this is a crossroad you and your family are at? I’m sorry for this journey you are on. Loosing a loved one to Dementia/Alzheimer is saying good bye everyday. Finding care for a loved one with memory issues is a hard road to travel. When all you want is to make the right decision, this can be stressful. I visited this facility to look for a memory care facility for my grandfather who is a Navy Veteran. He served this country for 32 years. I was basically told to look for a place with “more people like him around “ meaning black people. This place is racist, they had no residents of color, NOT ONE! And I see why because they will turn you away due to the color of your skin, pure ignorance.
Cedar Creek provided a soft landing during one of the hardest decisions our family has faced. We know we made the right choice after seeing the consistent, compassionate care they provide our mother-in-law and how they have supported us as a family. Her health has improved, she has made friends, and she enjoys outings, art, singing, and activities that enrich her life. The leadership is accessible and responsive, and the caregivers are warm, genuine, and highly skilled. It’s clear they truly care about every resident.
If I could give it no stars I would. If you care at all about your loved ones STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. They are full of excuses why stuff is not getting done don't trust this place at all.
They delivered everything they promised us! For example, a community of compassionate, knowledgeable caregivers who created a space that felt like home for my dad. They made everything as easy as it could be during a very difficult time. I felt the staff genuinely cared for the residents and treated all with affection and respect.
