I strongly caution anyone against using Caviar & Banana Catering (Austin, TX) and its parent company, Charleston Lane (Houston, TX). After booking a corporate lunch with them, I discovered multiple unauthorized charges on my credit card. Despite repeated assurances from owner Lance Miller that the charges were a mistake and would be refunded, no refund was ever issued—only more fraudulent transactions. We have used Caviar and Banana for corporate events for a couple years. There were some hiccups in the past but nothing terrible until this last year. Several dishes we ordered were replaced with different food, and tables that were ordered and paid for were not delivered, all without any prior notice. We attempted to contact Lance several times but have never received any response. We will certainly not use them again at any of our properties and will recommend that anyone thinking of using them go with another caterer.
