Please watch the quality of your food, I stopped by to get a half roast chicken and potato bugs. I got in my car, went to take a bite and the potato was completely rotted. I understand this however the worker had cut it in half, could you not see it was black inside? They refunded my money and were out of the bugs so gave me a carrot potato combo. I hate to write this review but I must. I have been eating here for 40 years. Back when the "Caveman" was running it. The food was out of this World. The last few years have been a steady decline. Taste, portion size, quality and customer service. The final straw for me was when I went last week. They changed the bread.. THE BREAD!!!! it was a crusty buttery goodness. I've been eating here since 1985... Best I have found! The food is amazing! dragon wheels, poorboy and bootleg pudding is my standard. The staff is always GREAT.
Certainly not prehistoric prices, much more costly than expected, very skimpy on the meat but plenty of the tomatoey sauce. Too much fat and gristle on sandwich, unyummy unless you really are a caveman. — at Cave Man Kitchens.
Caveman Kitchen catered our banquet for Seattle Inboard Racing Association, Seattle Drag and Ski and Tacoma Inboard Racing Association and did a great job! Very easy to work with and great food! Thank you and looking forward to working with you again!
Too pricy, very little meat on the sandwiches, and the sauce is a cross between ketchup and cheap spaghetti sauce (think spaghettio’s) I had hope, but we learned our lesson... won’t be back.
