I'm so thankful now I can see clearly again. I did not go to Dr. Cavanaugh to have a "chit chat" I went to have my eyes taken care of, and that he did in the exact order it was scheduled. I would recommend him to everyone. The staff were all so nice and treated me with kindness knowing I was a first time patient. I appreciated the fact that after a few questions he knew what I needed and I was told what he recommended, my choice after that. Again, thanks Dr. Cavanaugh, and staff.

I had an incredible experience with Dr. Cavanaugh and his staff performing cataract surgery. My eyes were very near-sighted, 800+ in one eye, 900+ in the other. Now I see almost 20/20 in both eyes, and after the lasik surgery performed as part of the cataract surgery at no extra cost,it should be 20/20 in both eyes! I don’t understand the negative reviews. The office is run like clockwork, and yes, you see another doctor for some post-op visits. But Dr. Cavanaugh saw me after both surgeries.

Go somewhere else. Had lasix surgery and the second day, I knew something was wrong. Called officer 3 times and was told this was normal. Ended up in emergency room and was diagnosed with corneal ulcer. Dr did great the infection for 3 months but then started charging for treatment. I spent a year being treated for bacterial and then fungal infection. Prepare for a two hour wait in office. Cavanaugh stacks and racks patients. I changed doctors. Go to Dr. Tauber.

The cataract surgery went well but the doctor is not good with follow-up. He seems more concerned with getting through the patient-mill, not spending enough time with his patients. Shortly afterwards, my husband had torn retinas and he did not catch them.He answered his phone on the weekend when he called but he did not give the right advice. My husband needed to see a retina specialist and was not given the right advice. Plus he doesn't do the follow up visits from cataract surgery..
