Came here after a bridal appointment and had terrific service! They overheard the celebration and made every effort to continue the party with wonderful cocktails and even better service! We had a party of 8 and everyone ordered something different and had nothing but compliments! The food is fantastic!!
the inside looks nice. good wait staff. Cobb wedge salad was decent. antipasto plate was decent. I enjoyed the hummus and duck.
It was our first time there and really enjoyed the appetizers.
The oysters were fresh and the bubbles were bubbly and cold! Do you really need more reasons? 😂
Cavan is a beautiful, unique place with an approachable atmosphere. The menu is a nice balance between familiar and upscale chic. The food is thoughtful and inventive. One of my favorite places to visit in the Irish Channel/Uptown. A great place to take a date or friends from out of town.
Cavan made my already perfect day, perfect. My wife and I got married on Friday the 13th 2018 down in New Orleans. I had chosen to have our reception dinner at Cavan for many different reasons. The atmosphere was great, beautiful building. The staff was by far some of the nicest people I've dealt with in the restaurant business.
