I am saddened to see the other reviews here. I am nothing but pleased with the care and service I received here. My husband and I are new to Norman, and did not have any idea who a good vet would be. Our cat got really sick one saturday, we called several clinics and the vets had all left for the day. We called Cats Only, the doctor came back to see our cat. I moved here to Norman a little while ago and not only have cats, but horses as well.. When I went to my equine vet (who is one of the top clinics in the country - down in Goldsby), I asked if they knew anyone who would be really good with my cats.. They said they only use Dr. Leopard, as her standard of care was was the same as they expected of their veterinarians, in their clinic. I have taken my cats to Dr Leopard at Cats Only Vet for many years. she is the only one I trust for correct diagnosis and care of my purebreds. She stays up to date with equipment and procedures, attending conferences and individual training sessions. she also does not run up costs with uneccisary tests and procedures. I first went to Cat's Only with an ill cat that another vet in town failed to diagnose properly. Not only did Dr. Leopard diagnose this simple ailment that was crucial to my cat's well being, but she also found another serious problem with him and saved his life. She has cared for my cats now for about 5 years and has done beyond an outstanding job. She is a true champion of all cats and cat lovers. You can absolutely trust your cats' lives to this vet.
I currently share my home with six cats. I have been going to Cats Only Clinic for seven or eight years. Everyone is competent, kind, and compassionate. I have repeatedly recommended Dr. Leopard other cat owners.
I don't understand some of those other reviews, they are either the type of people that would complain about free money or just are not happy unless everyone else s as miserable as they are. I raise bengal cats and Dr. Leopard has always gone out of her way to help them and for a much better fee than anyone else has ever given me. The other cat clinic across town told me that my cats diarrhea was never going to get better and recommened euthanasia. I have lived in Norman my entire life and have been to several different vets in Norman. This is the only place I will ever take any of my cats. The staff is great. Dr. Leopard always goes above and beyond to help in any way she can. I am so thankful for the care my "babies" have recieved over the years. I highly recommend Cats Only to anyone looking for a great vet!
Dr. Leopard and her staff are professionals who care about an animal's welfare and health. She has helped with emergencies and even came in on a weekend to see my friend's very sick cat. She also helps find surrogate moms for abandoned kittens and gives hints how to save money on routine care. I've dealt with several vets in Norman and she is my favorite!
Over the past ten years, I've taken my cats to Dr. Leopard many times, and the quality of care always has been top-notch. Dr. Leopard is very practical and straightforward in her approach, and she has a deep compassion for animals -- she often goes the "extra mile" to help cats that are in need of care. I've always been able to rely on Dr. Leopard to help me make the right decisions concerning the care and treatment of my cats.
