A little more information about our after hours change. Guardian Vet is a triage service which means you will be connected to a veterinary professional. This person will discuss your concerns and help you determine if you need care after hours or can safely wait until we reopen. They will be able to schedule an emergency appointment for the next day. Cats Only will close at noon on New Year’s Eve and reopen at 8am Friday January 3rd. Enjoy the holiday and be safe!
As of January 1st our after hours calls will be handled by a veterinary triage service called Guardian Vets. The change has come due to the increasing difficulty in handling after hours calls involving dogs. As a result I can no longer rotate with the other clinics. If your cat needs to be seen you will be directed to an emergency clinic in either Springfield or Savoy. I know this will be an inconvenience but feel it is the best solution at this time.
