I love Dr. Hiliker. I came to her when i had, had a stillbirth from another practice. She was so gracious and considerate of my feelings as she was pregnant at the time. She made me believe i could have another baby and yes did i go on to have 2 healthy babies under her direct care and supervision and though i was a high risk patient, she knew exactly what to do with me. Best bedside manner!! She will always be my number 1 superstar Dr.
Dr. Hilliker has been my OB/Gyn for 5 years and recently delivered my 3rd child. She is very punctual consistent and knowledgeable. She gives me her expert opinion without sugar coating it making sure that I understand the pros and cons to the situation. I never left an appointment uncertain about her decisions for my care. She is direct which I like, and may not be for everyone, but she is also compassionate and caring. I recommend her to all my family and friends.
I saw Dr. Hilliker (acquired painful internal infection during laparoscopic surgery)My gyno was on vacation. Dr H definitely was not a dr who wants to spend much time with patients. I had forgotten to ask what seemed to me to be a serious concern during my appt. I called the on call # about 8pm, she was the dr on call. Considering I had an infection from the surgery itself I would think she would have been less abrupt & condescending. I was already upset, did not need her dismissive attitude.
I have read some of the negative reviews about Dr Hilliker and felt I had to write one briefly myself. I will say, if you want a warm and fuzzy love-fest with your doctor, she is not for you. Dr Hilliker has been my doctor through 3 deliveries and other highs and lows as my OBGYN. I completely trust her and feel I can talk to her honestly. She is smart, skilled, responsible, and I have recommended her to many friends who feel the same. She called me at home when I had a miscarriage.
