Dr. Hilliker is awesome! It's the one appointment a year I hate the most, but she's soooo easy to talk to, really puts you at ease. I love to catch up with her during our appointment. Have recommended her to several girlfriends and they LOVE her as well!
Dr Hilliker has been my doctor for 9 years. She did her residency at the University of Pittsburgh (UPMC) a top 5 program. She has a laid back straight shooter approach unless it is truly something that needs to be addressed which I found helpful during pregnancy. I went through 3 pregnancy losses involving 2 surgeries and the compassion Dr H showed was something I will not forget.
I have been a patient of Dr. Hilliker's for 5 years and I have and would recommend her to any of my family and friends. After we moved to the area she delivered my last child, which ended up having difficulties during labor. She never hesitated and her quick action and sense of calm got me through. She is witty, straightforward and knowledgeable. She asks to see pictures of my daughter, who is now 5, and was very caring when planning my mammogram process after my mom passed from breast cancer.
I have been a patient of Dr. Hilliker for almost 7 years. She has been there through a miscarriage, ectopic that resulted in my tube rupturing and emergency surgery, coronual ectopic that resulted in an emergency c-section and the delivery of my boy/girl twins. Not only did she go above and beyond to call me on her days off or after hours to check on me but was vital in the referral to the reproductive endo who did our IVF. She did her residency at one of the top 3 women's medical schools.
She seemed friendly, but really failed us. I had horrible groin pain, so when she pressed the area the pain was unbearable. I told her the pain was extreme when she pressed, but she ignore me and said "Great! No pain!" She majorly misdiagnosed me! She put me on Cipro for a NON-existent infection! I told her and the nurse that I was allergic to that med family & they said I'd be fine & to take it. I had a MAJOR allergic reaction w/ nerve damage!! Her negligence took away months of my life!
Dr. Hilliker has delivered three of our four children. She was the doctor on-call when I went into labor with our second child and treated me like I was her only patient. She stayed by my bedside, coached me through everything and calmed me. After delivery, I thought I may not be healing well and was out of the city. When I arrived to my appointment, she took me back, herself, side-stepping the wait and nurses. She is amazing! Her level of expertise is unparalleled. I've referred a ton of people
Dr.Hilliker is an amazing doctor. I have been a patient of hers for over 5 years. She has been by my side through a ectopic pregnancy which led to having surgery. Two miscarriages which both led to surgeries and then the two pregnancy and births of my daughter and son. Through all of my ups and downs of my pregnancies she was always honest, positive, caring, and very thoughtful.
