Very bizarre experience. GUH canceled my appointment the day before it was scheduled and didn’t notify me. I show up to my appointment and Dr Demirel is in the office, claims I do not have an appointment, and treats me as if I’m some sort of intruder. Incredible rude and weird. Huge waste of time and remarkably mean spirited. I later called the office, and eventually got a staff member who confirmed they did in fact cancel my appointment without warning. On time; Dr. Demirel is a beautiful understanding & helpful physician. This is my second time being with her both visits were brief. I cannot say the same about the assistant at the counter(2115 Wisconsin). As I walked in the office, and got the assistant’s attention that I was present, she had an air of attitude, which I ignored. Why? I asked myself.
