This barbershop is such a gem in the neighborhood! From the moment I walked in, everyone was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. She gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had — the taper on the sides and back was spot on, which not everyone gets right. I also loved the little touches, like the eucalyptus-scented hot towel and the straight edge razor clean-up at the end. It’s the kind of place you actually look forward to coming back to.

I had an incredible experience at this barbershop! They understood exactly what I wanted right away, and the results were amazing—I’ve never been this satisfied with a haircut in my life. Very professional, making me feel completely at ease from the start. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with that special touch you only get from a family-owned business. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-quality service in a friendly setting!

Honestly the worst haircut experience my husband has ever had. He got his hair cut by the man (it seems to be a husband and wife duo). He did NOT know how to cut long layered hair for men. He chopped and butchered my husbands hair with a razor. We sat there after his appointment waiting to get it fixed but ended up walking away because we witnessed the barber butcher another mans long hair in front of us. did not want to risk ruining his hair anymore than it was. I had an amazing experience at Cathedral Barber Shop! My barber, May, who is also the owner, gave me a fantastic haircut with incredible skill and attention to detail. The shop is clean and well-maintained. Street parking is available and convenient. Reservations ahead of time are encouraged. The price was reasonable for the quality of service. Highly recommend—5 stars all the way!

I recently checked out this new barber shop on Wisconsin Ave, and it was a great experience. The haircut was fantastic They really paid attention to detail and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. Just a heads-up: they don't take Venmo or Zelle, and there's a $2 fee for card payments. It's a family-run place, so definitely give it a try next time you need a haircut!
