Seriously excellent barbers. I can say they gave me the best cut of my life, and as a result I even changed my reference photo for my hair style and beard cut. Both May and Try are excellent, though I generally went with May. Great price for their services as well, especially for the quality! Can’t recommend them enough!
I've been coming to see Try several times since I came to DC. I cannot find anyone better. He can do an excellent fade, very neat trim, and has given me recommendations on hair styles based on my head shape. He fixed a very bad haircut that I got elsewhere and it looks amazing. Highly recommend.
May and Try are great! May is one of the best barbers I’ve ever had and has given me some of my favorite haircuts. I drive across town to get my haircuts here and I’m happy to do it every time. They also really care about their customers, they remember you and they’re always happy to see you coming back. Great people and great haircuts!
First time in Washington DC, and I was looking for a good barber. May was so nice and gave me the best haircut I have ever had. No machine, old-school scissors! I recommend this place and especially May to everyone who is looking for a nice haircut.
I was visiting my daughter in DC. Walked a mile up Ordway for the exercise. Without an appointment, I walked in. May took care of me. Listen up men. I'm 63 & let my hair go like I was 70. By the time she was done. I looked 49 and thinner. She got the best tip I ever gave a barber! Please stop my and tell her Minneapolis says 'Hi'.
