I would have gave them a zero but that wasn't a choice. We went on a Friday night and ordered the catfish all you can eat. The fish are very small strips and all breading. It appears they take filets and cut them into several strips. The sides aren't bad but I've had much better. We were very disappointed. If you like whole catfish filets you should pass on this restaurant.
Always liked visiting when visiting family in Apopka. Visiting The Catfish Place is on the itinerary every trip. Today's visit was very bad. Started off with us waiting just inside the door while waiting for our table. We stayed inside because we had 2 kids (one is 2 years old) and it was chilly outside. We purposely stood in front of door that doesnt open so we would not obstruct the entrance/exit. Employee approached and said the "boss lady" said we had to wait outside. We're sorry you needed to wait outside, we don't have a waiting area inside but would have been happy to let you wait in your car and call you when your table was ready, we seated you as quickly as possible because of the cold, even though your server was still occupied with other tables and not ready to begin your order yet. We would have been happy to replace your wife's shrimp that was underdone. We wish we had an opportunity to address your concerns before you left this evening and hope you will give us a try again
My wife and I went there for our 39th anniversary. We each ordered 12 fried shrimp, cole slaw, and hush puppys. Ice tea. The shrimp were fried to perfection. Large bowl of Cole slaw. We were both stuffed. The bill was $50 including a $8 tip.

One of the best palaces I have ever eat. My son took me and his friend there . the food was awesome the price was wright considereing how much food you got . And yes very loving atmosphere and clean.
This place is awesome! Great food, friendly service. It's like going to a friend's. You'll be glad you went!
