Had a Great meal on Wed. nite we had a large party that they perfectly and professionally took care of our group ,the waitress Cindy was excellent took care our every need,We will defiantly be back
My hubby and I have been customers of this great seafood place for a couple years now. Although we have to drive about 1 1/2 hours to get to The Catfish Place....we've never been disappointed in the quality of the food. It's really difficult to find consistently good food - especially seafood - so we're thrilled with this restaurant. It's is also a fantastic place to hook up with a large group of friends. Happy our friend Bobby Sanders turned us on to it!!! ***smiles***

My very favorite is their broiled scallops with a touch of lemon juice sprinkled on across the plate. Love their hash browns, too.
The service is very friendly and they check back fairy often to ask if you need refills or anything else. The homemade cole slaw is perfect, nothing like it!! Delicious & tender sea food especially the combination platter. Plan on a nice dinner if you're in the area.☕️

The service was good, the portions were generous. Catfish has a distinct flavor, this was the blandest catfish I have ever eaten if it WAS catfish ... My first time there and was hoping to bring a friend that LOVES catfish when she came to visit. Don't think so now.

So sorry you didn't enjoy your dinner. The catfish comes in fresh every week from local lakes and rivers, all wild caught, we don't use any farm-raised fish. In 32 years I've never have anyone complain that it was bland; if anything folks used to farm-raised fish usually find the wild fish too "fishy" for their tastes. Thanks for coming in and taking the time to let us know you had an issue
I haven't been since I was a kid. My husband and I decided to try it again last night. It was wonderful, the cheese grits, the catfish, scallops, gator bites, grouper, down to the homemade desserts we took home, everything was great. Laurie, our server was super sweet and her service was fast and excellent. This will be a frequent for my family now, as it was when I was little.
