Catfish Lake Restaurant is a small individually owned restaurant that opened in 1986. Originally serving only chicken and fish, through the years we have greatly expanded our menu. Our famous house cut steaks are aged to perfection and char-broiled to order. Our rustic family atmosphere with scenic views make us unique and totally different than any of the other area restaurants. Our homemade food and desserts and modest prices will make for a very pleasurable dining experience.

My favorite restaurant! The best Walleye around!
The same great food as their old location, Catfish Lake. Simple homestyle food, concentrating on fish, with a healthy selection of steaks and sandwiches thrown in. The addition of a simple salad bar ($1 extra) is a pleasant surprise from their old menu.
My husband and son and I went to Catfish Lake Restaurant lodge at LaPlatte, last night, they said they opened Monday. Very nice place, nice atmosphere and the food was the same - delicious. The waitress was very friendly. We will be going back.

Great food, my kind of ambiance but they drive crazy calling thier walleye Alaskan. There is no such thing as Alaskan walleye. It is good no matter were it is from.
