Catfish Lake Restaurant is a small individually owned restaurant that opened in 1986. Originally serving only chicken and fish, through the years we have greatly expanded our menu. Our famous house cut steaks are aged to perfection and char-broiled to order. Our rustic family atmosphere with scenic views make us unique and totally different than any of the other area restaurants. Our homemade food and desserts and modest prices will make for a very pleasurable dining experience.

It is a place to get away from the city rush around.
This was our first time going to this restaurant. We had heard good things, that the food was good and the atmosphere was fun. My sister and I ordered the prime rib. My husband and mother ordered fish. First our drinks came out and they were uncarbonated (flat). We each ordered a salad. Everyone's salad looked different.. mine had a tomato onion and an egg on top .. My sister's had a tomato and nothing else. We waited about 30 minutes after our salad for our entrees to come out. By far my favorite place to go, Great Food, Great Atmosphere and Great people!!
I ordered the double rib dinner as usual, this time I took a bite of the fish it seem like it was old and I kept eating it and the fish got real mushy and tasted nasty. I think I got old fish that was undercooked I was spitting it out on my plate I told the waitress and she said "well nobody else complained". And didn't do nothing about it. I will go back . But I'll tell them to cook in an extra four minutes and if I don't like it I am not paying for it.
