This is seriously the worst and most unprofessional place. Dr. Iglesias was so unprofessional. We had a telehealth appointment twice. The first time, she told my son (5 years old) that she was a scary witch and she would take him away from me if he doesn’t act right. While I was sitting right beside him. The staff are nice and welcoming.
They will have someone call you back and argue with you regarding coming out and doing an assessment in a crisis situation. Which I don’t understand because they offer MOBILE CRISIS SERVICES! They don’t care because they’re state workers and don’t get paid what they should. Which is sad because when people need assistance we suffer because of it. Please if you can go to Charlotte, NC. It’s a 30min drive but they have way better care for mental health emergencies for children. They’re ranked top 10.
We initially used this agency through the school however after months of being ignored by the school based therapist, who thought scrolling on her phone while my daughter was pouring her heart out was a good idea, we decided to switch therapists within the same center. We ended up with the supervisor and thought we were in good hands. We were wrong. I understand being late to appointments a few minutes, no big deal. Even 10 to 15 minutes is acceptable.
