All around bad... – My boyfriend and I recently took my parents to The Rock Center Cafe while they were visiting from out of state. As an experienced server, I was anticipating a great experience at this touristy, pseudo-busy restaurant during skating season. Only legit mexican restaurant around + great margaritas! – I've lived in and around Orange County for 10 years and somehow I had never been to Tortilla Jo's until last week. It really is the only legit mexican restaurant around and it was REALLY nice to be able to have a great ice-cold margarita after a long day with the fam at Disneyland! My husband and I are going back with friends soon just to have drinks and food at the bar.
Great seafood and dessert place. – Went in one of the restaurant week with my friends. After the Miso glazed Casco Bay cod the key lime pie was really great. One of the best sea food I had in Manhattan
Don't waste your money – Ok, I am not one to really complain about dinners but I was here with my younger brother Mid July and we decided on having a nice dinner at a fancy place. Well this dinner cost a ton of money. For 2 Sirlon steaks (14oz only) and 2 ceaser salads and 2 drinks with 1 refill it was about $120 bucks before the tip. The steak had no taste. Valentine's Day Prix Fixe – We went here on Valentine's Day expecting something extra special. Have definitely had a great steak here before. The steak was good, but all I can remember is the awful, awful lobster salad. The lobster smelled like death, and it didn't taste much better. I had no choice but to send it back. Wonderful! – The staff at Sea Grill was exceedingly polite, the food was excellent, and the ambiance was very romantic. From the host to the coat check lady to the servers, this place was absolutely classy. The food was wonderful - we had the lobster and the New Zealand salmon. Dessert was chocolate fondue for two and way too much for us to finish but it was delicious! Highly recommended!
very dissapointing. food is far below average even by cheaper restaurants standards. – i am a food lover. i enjoy a great steak, and nick and stef's is far from that. granted, i did not order their "signature" steaks (they like to rave about their ribeye and new york), i had a sirloin but and it was VERY dissapointing. even their appetizers and dessert were "average" at best, so i will not be back to try their more famous steaks. a big let down. only reason i didnt give them 1 star only is because the food is about a 2 star.... read more
good food, good service – the food is good but not spectaculer and moderalty priced between $15 and $30 per plate. me and my girlfreind have gone twice and both times the service was great.
This place really understands sea food – Went here for restaurant week with two friends and the experience was spectacular. The location is wonderful and it was snowing which really added to the experience as we looked out onto the skating rink. I had one piece of salmon sushi as me and a friend waited for the third person to join our group.
