I visited Catahoula Coffee a few times during a recent stay in Richmond. The drip coffee is great and the Mexican Mochas are fantastic. The pastries I had were only so-so, which is why I only gave a four-star rating.
Great coffee...just wish that they were open a bit later when I need my afternoon buzz.
Love the Monsoon roast, great neighborhood place, and dog friendly.

Rich latté, made with care, perfect foam, and latté art. Roast their own beans. This is where you find the good stuff.
We have been going here since we moved to Richmond in June. The service is always awesome as well as the coffee and pastries. My 5 year old and I had a date yesterday to walk to Catahoala to get his favorite cinnamon morning bun. They were closed when we arrived but the wonderful staff working yesterday afternoon saw that my little guy was bummed out and gave him the cinnamon bun . Thank you so much for making his day
