Just to be very clear my review is speaking to things I know to be going on at Castlewood right now, 2017. This place is one of the most dangerous places one can go. People walk in with no or relatively minor trauma and walk out with huge extensive serious trauma histories that they suddenly "remembered" while at Castlewood and diagnoses of DID (multiple personalities) - again with no history of dissociation whatsoever. Sent a loved one there for treatment, between what my insurance company paid and my copayments, the Castlewood Treatment Center got paid over $165,000. She went in with a relatively minor eating disorder. She came out 4 months later much worse. She developed false memories of abuse and believed that she had Dissociative Identity Disorder (AKA multiple personalities). Words cannot express how grateful I am for the time I was afforded at Castewood. I have found a new way of living without my eating disorder. I have found ways to cope with my emotions and urges. My eating disorder took so much from me for way to long but Castlewood was the conduit for me to find recovery and finally find peace and happiness.
