Dr McGehee is terrific I started going here 20 years ago when I picked up a stray kitten from an apartment complex nearby. She lived 18 years under his care and treated her very well. Though I have since moved across town, I won't take my pets to any other doctor. He is very gentle and both our cats and our dog are very responsive to him. His rates are reasonable, but even if they were higher, I wouldn't go anywhere else!!!
The best vet ever! Dr. McGeehee is the best vet I have ever been to and I have been to lots! Once, when my dog was not able to walk, I took him to one vet who said he had a back injury. When he started struggling to breathe, I made the 70 mile trip to take him to Dr. McGeehee, who immediately said he had tetanus. Within 2 hours, my dog was better, and he made a full recovery.
