This is my first using them. I did see all the reviews. There are some huge reviews however, I thought I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt because I was referred there by another company that I use for other things and for me it wasn’t too bad he took my head. He told me when they pretty much be done and that’s when they were done. Nice friendly
So I took my motor block up there to get it hot tanked and clean and in order for that to be done, they had to disassemble it….. The problem is it seems like they did not reassemble my motor block correctly giving my research in this video…. it states that the piston rods should have “side to side play”, and if you don’t have that “play”, it could lead to “serious or catastrophic damage” to the motor block itself, causing it to seized…..the “son” tried to tell me they assembled it the same way it came… as if to say that my b... read more
caution!!! this shop is a scam and a rip off. deserve 0 stars. brought a block in to be cleaned and bored. long story short bore was not right as well as the cleaning. on site with the shop i showed them the rust in the water ways, there response was that the rust is ok as long as it does not have a blockage. castillos machine shop does not have the proper equipment nor machinery to complete the job that was asked of them. they told me to bring the block back so they can fix it. why would i do that when it wasnt done right i... read more
They do not have a good attitude they charged me extra for something I asked for in the beginning that was supposed to be the same price I feel I didn’t get my money worth I will never go there again bad customer service
