Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Castillo Real! My husband and I were there for a little getaway, and our room was clean, stylish, and comfortable. The beds were lovely, and I especially enjoyed the shampoo and conditioner provided in the shower. They smelled absolutely divine! The hotel itself has beautiful architecture and a fresh, modern aesthetic that I really appreciated. There were a few things that detracted from an otherwise wonderful experience, though. Wasn’t greeted when we arrived. I had checked in digitally and the key also wasn’t ready. We had to go to the front desk but no one was there for a length of time. Finally they showed and then asked to see my ID card for my room after I gave him the name and the room I already checked into and said I just need the digital key. Room curtain to the balcony is broken and won’t open. It blocks the doorway to go out to the balcony. Also in the room there is a workstation provided as advertised but no office chair for it. Horrible experience the price was expensive to start. The room air conditioner was extremely loud all night. We stayed 4 days and everyday we had to get a new room key because ours quit working. When we went to get new keys no apologies just rude customer service telling us it was our fault that we deactivated our room keys. We are very disappointed with hilton expecting so much more for 800 dollars.

Immaculate interior and location! We had a great stay here after having to rebook our labor day weekend plans at the last minute. It is walking distance from the ocean and has a nice pool. Please be aware that parking is not included in the room fee. We would absolutely stay here again!

One special October night. This was not our first stay here. It was our first day under new ownership.We always loved it before even under the construction. They did a great job on the redecorating. The reason I’m giving it a two star review now is I accidentally left my Kindle in the bed next to the nightstand when we checked out.
