Love it here for the food, ambience and belly dancing I've come here a few times, and really enjoyed my food and the ambience. Once, we had a very large group for a friend's going away, and the restaurant handled us very well. They had belly dancing that night, and it was such a perfect conversation piece and send-off for my friend. Really enjoyed it.

Stay AWAY it's so sad that i have to write this review for a fellow iranian, but for some reason we have no discipline and or consistency. The only edible food is the kabab koobideh there. Their "khoresh" which is the sauces like ghormeh sabzi or gheymeh and all is always terrible. It's premade and frozen for six mos or more...or it tastes that way. they never have a computer print out when you order the dumbass unfriendly guy who takes your order hand scribbles somthing on reciept pad from the '80's whasup with that!! There... read more

Wonderful unique food and great service! We've been to Caspian at least 10 times and the food has been consistently excellent! Try the fesenjan, a chicken dish with pomegranate juice, or the veggie platters to give your taste buds a rare treat. The kababs are delight too. The waiters are very attentive and the owner often stops by to chat or can be found in the kitchen making sure their tried-and-tested recipes are being followed faithfully. Friday and Saturday evenings include live music and belly dancing (five dollar cover... read more

Persian Food Quiet and intimate setting located in the University District. Service was prompt and attentive. The menu has good variety and the palate is never disappointed.

Very Unprofessional my Girlfriend ordered the fish and rice dish, however, her salmon was raw/red inside, she asked the waiter to cook it more. After 15 minutes, they come back with a black fish, so dry the fork wouldn’t even cut it and it was burnt all over. we showed the fish to the waiter, and he called the manager. The manager came over and looked at her very condescending and all he said was “I’ll take care of it”. At that point my girl friend asked him to make the order to go since it was too late. we sat there... read more

Really good Persian food – My first visit to Caspian Grill. Nice place, well decorated, and I was greeted by the owner as I walked in. My friend and I were treated well, sat right away, and walked through the menu. The food was excellent. My lamb shank fell off the bone and practically melted in my mouth. Paired it with the hummus, feta and veggies, a dish of eggplant with tomato puree (forgot the name of it) The prices were very reasonable. I would take off 1/4 star for the paper napkin and the paper place mat. other than t... read more

Don't waste your time with this dump – One star is really too generous. This place is some cheesey gross rip off of what middle eastern food is supposed to be. Seattle is a town of amazing, affordable restaurants and its really a shame that this place is still in business. The chicken tastes rubbery, the sauce had this weird chemically taste even though it had obviously been filled with butter. Water glasses go unfilled, waiters have to be chased down when your'e ready for the check. The table next to us warned us as they we... read more

Worst Resturant ever – I order Kobba lamb. It was NOT well done. I called the waiter and told him it wasn't well done. The owner came by looked at me in a very condescending way. And then said OK. It felt one more word and things would really get bad! This guy should be running a prison NOT a restaurant. 15 min later came by and it was still not well done. The food tasted like rubber. The experience was very bad. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Seattle's best Persian food is just down the street! – The food from the Caspian Grill Persian Cuisine is beautifully conceived, elegantly presented, and as varied as the colors outside a window pane in spring. The chemistry of Persian food is not so foreign to me and just because the restaurant is not complete fine dining does not alter the dish placed in front of me, but certainly it reinterprets the fundamentals of cooking. The food is anything but simple. It is worldly, ancient, historically organic and honors the art of... read more
