Good time for any "season" – this place is THE place to be before/during/after a Red Sox game, but is still a great time during the offseason....they have a 22oz. bud light for $3!! and no cover
Can't wait for spring – I miss hanging with the fellas at the Cask before the Sox games. Don't be intimidated by the line outside. It moves fast and is worth the wait. The staff is cognizant enough of game times to get you out the door for the first pitch. Remote beer stations keep the beverages flowing. Can't wait til next spring so I'll have to stop by to watch football now.
no better place on game day – one of the best bars to get into, if the line isn't too long, on gameday around fenway, other then that i wouldn't recommend it.
WICKED COOL! – Before or After RED SOX homes games, this is the place to be!! Full of friendly, knowledgeable Sox fans and great staff. Good burgers and cold beer. Just what you need to get excited for the Sox game!
Cold beers, great folks, killer music – Granted the Cask 'n' Flagon was pretty packed after the Red Sox game, but once we got inside we found a table in no time. The wings were great and the cold beer washed them done really well. I was really impressed by the music, it set the mood for which turned out to be an awesome night in Bean Town!
Lansdown hits a hommer here!! – This is one of my favorite hang outs after a Sox game. This place rocks before and after a game. They have great service, good prices ($4 for beer and $6 for mixed) and a dance floor with preaty good Dj's. (One of them play's to much J Lo.) You can talk to anyone and have a good time. They usually have 3 or 4 different games on at once along with sports center so you can check out your favorite teams. The staff is very friendly and wont bother you unless your a huge pain in the ass. Great plac... read more
Cask & Flagon is awsome – What a great place to go when the Red Sox are in town. The location is the best spot to plan on meeting up with friends. Just tell them to meet you at the bar behind the famous "Green Monster". I really had a great time here. You almost don't even need to spend your money on Sox tickets, just stay here and watch the game on TV. The beer is a lot cheaper too. Service was relaxed and friendly and the food was great pub type stuff (nachos, burgers and BBQ ribs)
Awsome place for Sox fans – I have been to the Cask & Flagon many times this year as part of my "pre-game" ritual. Every time I have had a great time. The location is perfect to meet up with friends before the game. The food is good and the ice cold beer from the foyer tubs is the coldest, most satisfying beer in Boston. And oh yah, the great looking bartender was a plus too. I would recomend the Cask & Flagon as THE place to go for all Red Sox Fans!
STAY AWAY!!! – I don't know if it was cause we were out of towners or what, but this place acted like they wanted nothing to do with our business. The first night we tried to get in, they took my friends drivers license away and wouldn't let him in....now i'm 26 and both my buddies are 24. The next night we went back in, and they wouldn't let us in because my friend had "too much to drink already", how they determined this is beyond me, cause all he did was give them his ID, and we were all sober. We went to a bunch of other... read more
