I have used Cash Energy for many years and now totally dissatisfied with the company since they were purchased by Superior Propane. I called five days ago for a delivery and explained that I only had 1/8 of a tank which I normally do not let happen. I was told they would put that on my order in hopes to get a quicker delivery. Customer for over 20 years. Ran low on fuel and called for a delivery. I was told 7-10 days wait. I told them I would never make a week to 10 days. I asked them what happens when I run out and if I can call them for an emergency delivery. On the first phone call they told me no 7 to 10 days and nothing else. When I called back and asked again they quoted me $250 for an emergency delivery. They said their trucks were not on the road on this particular Monday after a storm. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY** -They delivered water mixed in with their fuel to my tank, causing my heat to stop working entirely, causing me to pay $475 in damages to my furnace. This was a week before Christmas. I had my furnace guy look at it and he said it’s not uncommon for this to happen, but the manager Sean ignored my calls for a month straight, and then denied responsibility for the matter. I asked for the credit back and he offered $100 for me to drop the issue. I will be taking this further.
I will never use this company again. I was a loyal customer of over 15 years. I recently called for oil. I was on hold for 2 hours and 19 minutes. When I finally was able to connect to representitive, I was told I'd have to wait 10 days for delivery. This is poor service all around. I will say, the customer service rep (after over two hours on hold) was very nice and the delivery man so great as well. It's the management of the Superior Energy (who now owns Cash energy) that seems over it's head.
