Games Must be expected and then some I went to Cash converters several times to buy games and such. I never really had a bad experience until I bought 3 games and realized that halfway through the game to find out that the disk was dirty and the console couldn't read it anymore. At first I thought I could just return it and get another game back. However, The warranty is only for 3 days and I had the game for 2 weeks already. So, the moral of this story is, expect and play the game as soon as you can.
Great selection! We've been to Cash Converters several times to browse and buy items. We have never taken anything there to sell though. Our favorite thing to look for used to be videos because they had such a large selection at great prices. However the last time we were there it looked like they were trying to sell out of them and not carry them anymore. We've never purchased anything else from them although it is neat to look around because they have a wide selection of anything and everything.
Not bad Cash Converters is a pretty cool store... you can find everything from computers, old/new gaming consoles, jewlery, musical instruments, TV's, etc. I like it because usually they have what you want. However, the prices are often a bit too high for my liking (though not for all products) and they are really skimpy on what they pay you.
Good Prices, Decent Selection Like most pawn shops, Cash Converters is full of computers, TV's, jewelry and musical instruments. If you don't mind the customers blaring stereos at the highest bass settings, you might find a decent deal on what you're looking for. Of course, if you want to sell something here, you'll be paid a pittance for it.
