Referred to Dr. Cates by surgeon who had done original surgery on my humerus 3 years ago and assured me Dr. Cates was the best surgeon he knew. A non-union case where the bone never really healed is a serious operation and I am so grateful to Dr. Cates for his surgical skill and encouragement throughout months of healing. Dr. Cates performed surgery on my broken ulna and radius. There is nothing more to say than he did a beautiful job making sure I would make a full recovery and have minimal scarring despite it being an open fracture.

I suffered a grade 3 Tibial Plateau Fracture which required ORIF surgery in April 2022. Dr. Cates was my surgeon. I really can't say thank you enough to Dr. Cates and the team at Baylor. I am 7 months post-operation and I have full range of motion back, the knee itself feels great with virtually no pain and I will be returning to sport over the next few months. I have put ALOT of effort into physical therapy, but I know my progress wouldn't be where it is today without having the strong structural foundation that Dr. Cates p... read more
