My 23 year old daughter and I (both photography enthusiasts) braved the early morning chill and rode the 5:05am "sunrise cruise". Great fun. We saw a beautiful sunrise, watched a lot of working boats, enjoyed some gorgeous island scenery and took a ton of pictures. We were back at the terminal by 7:20am and off to work. I love living in Maine!
The ferry ride was fine, but not being from the area we parked in the parking garage. It was 35.00!!!! For 6 hours!!! Live and learn.
Great trip to and from Peaks Island. Ticket sales people and “dock hands” were very helpful and willing to answer our “newbie” questions about traveling the ferry. My wife and I both have grown up near here and never knew how simple it was to travel to the islands of Casco Bay. We loved biking around Peaks Island and look forward to more bike adventures down the road.
Love it. Peaks Island coming up for Lunch along with Mike's golf carts.
