Mid-August Mail Boat Tour: be aware that the "tour" part is very-much secondary to the work of the boat and the regulars who travel to/from the islands. The public address system is poor, so any information that was spoken was lost on our group of five. The boat holds 290 passengers, which means that most passengers aren't going to be in the better seats up top. Wish we had done this a month later.
Worth every penny. The staff was awesome and the guide was Great !
Even though I am from Maine..for the first time ever going on the ferry it was a great and fun experience!!!
