Got a massage today from a gentleman who spoke very limited English- this is only to say it’s a bit challenging communicating what you want in these scenarios. The massage was generally good, although he lost his rhythm when he flipped me over and started working on my legs. When the massage was done and I hopped up, it was clear that he only massaged for 55 of 60 minutes and took me back into the room after my appointment time (although I was sitting waiting for him). I like deep tissue massages, but this deep tissue massage was very painful and not therapeutic. Started out by cracking my back without warning followed by saying “relax”. The rest of the massage included using his elbow to dig into my back. Would not recommend. I tipped but I shouldn’t have.
This is hands down my go-to massage spot, reminds me of the massages I would get in Bali. The space is super clean, peaceful, and welcoming, and the staff are always kind and professional. The deep tissue massages are absolutely incredible and help with tension and stress, they always get it right.
