Darleen has been wonderful to work with. We are having our first child and i will tell you that in on visit with her we felt more at ease and centered then three visits with our old office. She is a one of a kind and her place is wonderful.
Dr Molly Gray, a midwife at the center, is a fantastic doctor and midwife. She is knowledgeable and caring, and goes above and beyond for her patients. I lost my baby before we could even start regular midwife visits at the center, and even though she was not paid for it, she followed up with me by phone and email for weeks. She was so caring and helpful I made her my personal doctor (she also practices at West Seattle Natural Medicine) and will use her for any future pregnancies. If you want a place that is nothing like the horrifying atmosphere of a hospital this is the place to go. It was like giving birth in a four star hotel & the midwives were wonderful. The only complaint is I went there to have a water birth & I told them several hours earlier that I was in labor but when I got there to have my child they had no more hot water due to doing several loads of laundry, Can you believe it? Well besides that I loved it and would give birth there again.
