Out of the seven caverns we visited in our six months in Texas, this one was probably my favorite. It’s still very active and there was a waterfall at the end. Our tour guide was very enthusiastic.
My son has a service dog but the owner wouldn't allow him in despite what Federal Law states. So my son was forced to either miss out or struggle through the caverns without the aid of his pup. No one should be faced with forcing that on their kids. My son loves caves (been through many others with the same service animal never been a problem anywhere else) so he struggled through it. Had we not been with a tour group we wouldn't have wasted our time.
Awesome place! I have a 13 and 15 year old and they enjoyed it as well. The staff was great and very informative. The price was also very reasonable compared to other caverns we have been to. Great learning experience and adventure.
Cascade Caverns was one of the best experiences I've had in my entire life. My family had the luxury of attending a tour by ourselves and our tour guide Toby was super friendly, really great with our kids and very knowledgeable. It's the least man manipulated cave in the area and is truly a treasure. I am recommending to everyone they visit! They also have a really fun mini mining experience for kids that is unbeatable.
