Ordered the veal sandwich and lasagna. Haven't tried the lasagna yet. The veal sandwich was not something I'd ever order again. The veal itself was tender and fairly tasty but the sauce was bland and needed more salt or sugar. It was so small it was mostly bun. The sauce Tasted out of a can although the reviews all say homemade. There was a sprinkle of ground parmesan, so again no taste and certainly not authentic. What a wonderful place. The food is old school. Properly made and fresh. Staff are lovely. You will leave full and happy. If I could give more stars, I would.
Update Mar 6, 26. Bought takeaway for my Daughter, and she’s still raving about her meal next day. Thanks Sal!! Small place with a lot of character! Dropped by yesterday for the first time and I think I found my new go to place for ready made Italian food and coffee. Can't wait to try their Pizza Wednesdays!
First time getting food here and it was fantastic! The chef was very kind, looking forward to getting food here again!
